Leachator Pumping Systems – Specialists in Landfill Applications

Today we want to take a little time to talk about Leachate management.

Leachate is a widely used term in the environmental sciences where it has the specific meaning of a liquid that has dissolved or entrained environmentally harmful substances that may then enter the environment. It is frequently in the context of land-filling of waste.

Engineering and construction of a robust Leachate monitoring and handling system to crucial to the environmental performance of any waste site.  When Rice Earth Sciences gets involved in a landfill project requiring pumping, we always turn Leachator Pumping Systems.

Specifically engineered to handle the unique requirements encountered in landfills, Leachtor pumps fall into two categories – multistage turbines and single stage pumps.  Multistage turbine pumps are an excellent choice for many landfill applications. These pumps can be configured by selecting the number of stages and motor horsepower to satisfy a wide range of conditions. The multistage turbine pumps supplied by Leachator are available with fabricated or cast stainless steel impellers. The single stage pumps are supplied with cast impellers.

Complete the integrated management system by including carriages, UL-listed 508A/698A control panels, sensors/transducers, cables, hoses and fittings – and even remotely monitor with telemetry options.  All components of the Leachator system have been engineered and manufactured specifically for leachate applications.  Each system is engineered specifically for your application and constructed in Cumming, Georgia.  The quality of construction and engineering design has helped Rice Earth Science customers across Canada for over 20 years.

Rice Earth Sciences is the sole Canadian representative for Leachator systems.  Get us involved in your next Landfill design or construction project to see the difference our systems can make.
