Rice prides itself on operating some of the most advanced plastic manufacturing equipment in the country.   Today, we’d like to highlight how our slotting capabilities are ahead of the curve and diversified to give our customers the widest range of patterns possible.

Our most exciting announcement has to be our capability to handle 50ft HDPE plastic pipe – up to a 12” diameter! Our cutting system includes dual-blade packs capable of completing multiple rows of slots in unison – enough to double previous completion times on most even row patterns. Material dependent, we can slot sizes from 0.006” – ½” on standard products, while different widths are available upon request. Our proprietary drive system allow tighter controls and a more consistent slot pattern to ensure our customers are receiving the highest quality pipe on the market. To aid in this consistency; our pipe handling systems include pneumatic lifts and compression supports for the extra length of pipe to reduce issues of bent pipe.  Our systems keeps our workers safe while increasing our production amounts.
